由於相機與智慧型手機在摩洛哥日益普及，要一窺該國內部面貌已不再困難，不再只見得到令人驚嘆的歷史古城，民眾在2月20日上街抗爭的場景，也同樣呈現在世人面前。

其中Omar El Hyani的照片最能捕捉抗議當地的情況，他在首都拉巴特（Rabat）拍攝照片，獲得網路報紙The Nation引用，並張貼於摩洛哥獨立新聞入口網站Mamfakinch，完整相片集請見此。
