4月14日，在香港政府舉辦的慶香港回歸二十週年的比賽中，十三名香港的小學生獲得了獎項。
英國在1997年7月1日把香港的主權轉交給中國。
是次海報設計比賽的主題是「我到20歲時」，在去年12月至今年2月期間收到超過3,000份參賽作品。學生要在海報裡想像他們二十歲時的景況。中學生以及其他公眾人士則可以參加以「攜手同行」為主題的影片拍攝比賽。

11歲的陳守義以他的色彩斑斕的作品贏得了獎項，作品想像有海底屋苑的香港城市：
To solve the problem of insufficient land supply, the government seeks land both in the urban areas and the countryside to build houses.
Why not think outside the box and build a city at the bottom of the sea by constructing large community houses and luxury flats so that Hong Kong's admirers of the sea can have one more option?
為了解決土地供應不足的問題，政府在市區和郊區尋覓土地興建房屋。
何不破格思考？在海底建立城市，興建大型社區屋苑和豪宅，讓喜愛海洋的港人有多一種選擇。

11歲的劉子泓贏得了亞軍，作品預視了城市的大災難：
In my painting, Hong Kong has become a city of garbage where the air is toxic and everybody has to wear an oxygen mask, whilst buildings are damaged…
My painting is to remind people of [the importance of] environmental protection, not to generate garbage, so that our future would not look like my painting.
在我的畫裡，香港已成為一座垃圾城市，空氣中滿是毒氣，每個人都要戴氧氣罩，建築也受到破壞……
我的這幅畫就是要提醒人們保護環境，不要製造垃圾，我們的未來才不會跟我畫的一樣。

獲得季軍的朱靖鋒對城市將來的命運較為樂觀：
By the time I am 20, I shall be a journalist…The first Hong Kong-built space shuttle (Hong Kong No. 1) was launched on the date of the 30th anniversary as everybody cheered and felt greatly encouraged… This is what I reported on [the] scene.
我20歲的時候會是一個新聞記者…第一艘由香港製造的穿梭機（香港一號）會在回歸三十週年那天發射，所有人都為此歡呼和感到鼓舞…這就是我的現場報導。

黎欣瞳，今年九歲，她因鍾情香港的電車而畫了這幅海報，獲得了優異獎。
Trams have not only been running between the east and the west of Hong Kong Island,” she wrote. “When I’m 20, we may take the trams from Hong Kong to the universe to have a wonderful and amazing tram tour.
電車不止來往港島東至西。我20歲的時候，要從香港乘坐電車到宇宙去，展開美好奇妙的電車之旅。

I will never be a dirty hypocrite as often reported in the news.
到20歲時，我會成為一個成熟的人；到20歲時，我會成為一個誠實的人；到20歲時，我會成為一個有承擔的人；到20歲時，我會成為一個心無城府的人。
