孟加拉：怯懦的媒體
自軍方支持的臨時政府宣布孟加拉進入緊急狀態後，國內媒體便備受考驗，2007年6月《Himal South Asian》雜誌的獨家報導指出，國內孟加拉語與英語媒體已失去公信力： 在軍事執政時期，孟加拉民眾期望見到媒體的領導力，但記者卻甘心受民粹主義欺負、因恐懼當局而屈服。時隔一年，情況並未改變，反而每況愈下。
