希臘政府公民保護部長Christos Papoutsis於跨年宣布新的嚴格移民政策，引發社會強烈反彈： 希臘社會已達到承受非法移民的極限，我要表明，只有應獲得國際保護及庇護的移民能留在我國，其他人全都得離開希臘，他們可以自願回國，或者強制驅逐。
